Safeguarding Cardiovascular Health
ImagineLaw, in collaboration with the Department of Health and the World Health Organization, with the support of the Global Health Advocacy Incubator and Resolve To Save Lives, implements the WHO REPLACE Action Package on Trans Fat Elimination under the banner of “Trans Fat Free Philippines.”
Trans Fat Free Philippines is a multi-sectoral advocacy campaign composed of international UN agencies, national government agencies, civil society organizations, and professional societies that advocate for the elimination of industrially-produced trans fat in the country. The campaign seeks to improve the overall health and lifestyle of all Filipinos through policy change geared towards TFA elimination.
The advocacy initiatives also mobilize public support in creating a healthier food environment and better preventive health care for all Filipinos.
